Happy Snail
Design Brief:
You will design a batch of 10 objects involving a clever and efficient production system. The product should be ready to sell and provide an easy and steady income
Keeping you company on your desk, Happy Snail is a paint palette designed to inspire the artist in everyone and bring colour to any space. With 7 colour options, there is something for everyone, ranging from more muted tones to brighter colours
Bringing together the most commonly used supplies when painting, these snails feature a paint palette, mixing tray, water reservoir, and brush rests all in one product to make painting more enjoyable
Along with 7 colour variations, the palette also comes in 2 styles, with dividers or without. The dividers are perfect for thinner mediums like watercolour or inks and the style without is great for acrylic and gouache
Happy Snails will slowly be making their way to Bovey Tracey Craft Festival on June 12-14th

Happy Snail is made from slip cast earthenware that has been hand finished. The range of colourful glazes applied to each shell use both stains and oxides to achieve cheerful and bright colour varieties
